Despite an announcement by his wife last month that he was too ill to continue running for Mayor of Kenner, Louis Congemi never officially withdrew from the race. With early voting starting on Saturday, that means the former Mayor could make the difference in whether the election is decided in the March 27th primary without a run-off. The former mayor faces Phil Capitano and Mike Yenni who are actively campaigning for the seat.
